This is not a marketing line — it's the architecture. Drifter has no server, no account system, and no analytics.
Last updated: August 5, 2026
The short version: Files you drop into Drifter are converted entirely in your browser (web) or on your device (native app). Nothing is uploaded. No account is required. No files, and no information derived from them, are ever transmitted off your device.
Nothing. The application contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDKs, and no other code that transmits information about you, your device, or your files — to Apps With Andrew or to anyone else.
This applies to:
When a file is dropped in, it's read into your browser's (or device's) memory, processed by JavaScript code running locally, and the resulting PDF is written back to your device for download. The original files and the resulting PDF stay on your device the entire time. There is no network round-trip for the conversion itself.
For the web version, this can be verified by opening the browser's network inspector — no upload requests are made when a file is converted.
The web version loads a small number of open-source libraries from public CDNs (jsDelivr and Cloudflare's CDN) so that conversions can run in the browser. These CDNs may log your IP address as part of their normal operation — this is standard for any website you visit. Those logs are not accessible to Apps With Andrew.
The native iOS/iPadOS app bundles these libraries inside the application, so it makes no network requests to convert your files.
Purchases of Drifter Pro in the native app are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apps With Andrew never sees or stores your payment information; the app only receives Apple's confirmation that the purchase is active. The web version has no purchases at all.
The web version sets no cookies and writes no data to your browser's local storage. There is no preference, no session, no identifier — nothing is persisted between visits.
If the page is installed to your home screen as a Progressive Web App, your browser may cache the application files (HTML, JavaScript, icons) so that the app works offline. This cache contains only the application itself — never your files, never anything about you.
Drifter is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because no data is collected at all, there is no exception for any user category.
If functionality is ever added that requires data collection (there are no current plans for this), this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date will change. Substantive changes will be announced at appswithandrew.com.
